Schedule VII of Section 135 of The Companies Act, 2013 has opened Opportunities for Corporates to give back to the society by way of undertaking various projects under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) viz. eradicating extreme hunger and poverty, promotion of education, promotion of gender equality and empowering women, ensuring environmental sustainability, imparting employment enhancing vocational skills, social business projects, etc.
